If you’re puzzled about algorithms, misinformation and what’s happening (and deceiving) online, or if you are trying to help your kids or other adults navigate the murky waters of social media, this presentation is for you!

At 10:30 a.m., I’ll be presenting a fun game called Post or Pass? that teaches young people (and adults!) about how to spot misinformation, why people create it, and how to avoid it.

And at 2 p.m., I’ll be talking to adults about how to figure out what’s real and what’s fake online. In this fascinating presentation, you’ll learn what to look for, and how to boost your critical thinking skills—and those of your kids. We’ll also explore why people post “fake news” and how algorithms can limit your access to good information (and we’ll give you some practical tips on improving that!).
