New book coming in 2025!

They’re baaaack! Jan Dolby has agreed to illustrate my upcoming book for Owlkids Books, to be published fall 2025. Jan and I have had a thousand literary adventures since we published “Gabby,” our first of four books together (seen here) back in 2013. It’s a great pleasure to work with her again.

Watch for my new illustrated non-fiction book, coming in the fall of 2025.

I’m excited to be working on this book, centred on critical thinking skills, with the awesome team at Owlkids Books. It’s all about how we are each in an “information bubble,” how today’s internet algorithms contribute to putting us there and, of course, how to get out!

We’re at the editing stage of the manuscript now, incorporating feedback from beta-readers, triple-checking all the facts and finessing the text to ensure we’re giving young readers the best information possible in a way that is accessible and fun.

Thank you to the smart and experienced team at Owlkids Books who are as excited about this book as I am. They’re guiding it every step of the way, in order to have the finished product on shelves in 2025.

We’ll have updates along the way–watch this space!
